South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - November 5, 1999 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1712. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered in the record: An Affidavit from <br />the Tri- County News that the Notice of <br />Public Hearing was published in that <br />newspaper on October 22, 1999, and an <br />Affidavit from the South Bend Tribune that <br />the Notice of Public Hearing was published <br />in that newspaper on October 24, 1999. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Resolution No. 1712 <br />appropriates monies for the purpose of <br />defraying the expenses of certain local <br />public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 1999, and ending <br />December 31, 1999, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations relative <br />to the Leighton Plaza Retail Space and <br />Plaza. <br />Mr. Hunt opened the public hearing for <br />anyone who wished to speak regarding <br />Resolution No. 1712. There was no one <br />who wished to speak regarding Resolution <br />No. 1712. Mr. Hunt closed the public <br />hearing for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1712 appropriating <br />monies for the purpose of defraying <br />expenses of certain local public <br />improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 1999, and ending <br />December 31, 1999, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, fixing <br />a time when the same shall take effect. <br />10 <br />
