South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 1, 1999 <br />Cannon) <br />x. Commission approval requested for <br />Quit -Claim Deed to Dorothy Carter <br />for property in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that when the <br />Department of Redevelopment <br />purchased the property at 602 Carroll <br />Street, 6" of Dorothy Carter's land was <br />on the survey as belonging to the 602 <br />Carroll St. The 6" of land is not a part <br />of 602 Carroll St. and belongs to Ms. <br />Carter. The Quit -Claim Deed will <br />transfer the 6" of land back to Dorothy <br />Carter. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Quit - <br />Claim Deed to Dorothy Carter for <br />property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />y. Staff report on disposition of <br />property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that a proposal was <br />received from River of Life Church to <br />purchase the 310' x 165' parking lot at <br />the corner of Bronson and St. Joseph <br />Streets.
