Staff report on disposition of property <br />in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that John Rollins of <br />Rollins Truck Leasing Corporation gave <br />a presentation at the July 16, 1999, <br />Redevelopment Commission meeting. <br />John Rollins proposed to purchase 6.77 <br />acres of land in the U.S. 31 Industrial <br />Park. At that time, the staff was directed <br />to work with Rollins Truck Leasing <br />Corporation on finding another suitable <br />location for its proposed project. The <br />6.77 acre site was not zoned for Rollins' <br />proposed use. <br />Robert Case presented the following <br />staff report to the Commission for its <br />consideration. <br />Rollins proposes to purchase <br />approximately 6.77 acres of land in U.S. <br />31 Industrial Park for a purchase price of <br />$216,640. <br />-7- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE POLICY FOR OWNER <br />INITIATED ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE <br />AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
