South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - August 13, 1999 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to add item <br />6.g. to the agenda. There was no objection <br />and item 6.g. was added. <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1706 commending <br />Eugenia S. Schwartz for <br />extraordinary services to the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Mr. Hunt read the following resolution <br />to the Commission for its consideration. <br />WHEREAS, Eugenia S. Schwartz has <br />served as a member of the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission since <br />January 1997; and WHEREAS, Genie <br />previously served as the Redevelopment <br />Commission's attorney from 1983 <br />through 1987 during her tenure as <br />Assistant City Attorney, Managing <br />Attorney and City Attorney for the <br />Department of Law, City of South Bend; <br />and WHEREAS, her keen legal mind, <br />insight and attention to detail have been <br />invaluable to the Commission insuring <br />that all of the is have been dotted and <br />the is have been crossed; and <br />WHEREAS, during her tenure on the <br />Commission and as attorney for the <br />G -3- <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
