<br />This is EXHIBIT K, consisting of 3pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated March 26, 2019. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO OWNER-ENGINEER AGREEMENT <br />Amendment No. __1___ <br /> <br />1. Background Data: <br /> <br />a. Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: March 26, 2019 <br /> <br />b. Owner: City of South Bend acting by and through the Board of Public Works <br /> <br />c. Engineer: DLZ Indiana, LLC, 2211 East Jefferson Blvd. South Bend, Indiana <br />46615 <br /> <br />d. Project: DOUGLAS ROAD LIFT STATION RELOCATION <br /> <br />2. Description of Modifications: <br />a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: <br />1) Add the following to the end of the Project Description of Engineers Services: <br /> <br />Prapproximately 275 <br />lineal feet of 12 water main due to conflicts with the Douglas Road <br />Reconstructions Project Des. No. 1400639 project, which includes added travel <br />lanes and bridge reconstruction from Ivy Road to S.R. 23. The 12 water main will <br />be relocated in the segment in the immediate vicinity of Juday Creek. The existing <br />water main is in conflict with the proposed bridge crossing of Juday Creek. The <br />relocation of the 12 water main will include an approximate 75-foot segment that <br />will be above grade and supported on the bridge (near the road elevation). The <br />above grade water mains will include heat trace, insulation and a hanger system to <br />suspend the watermain on the side of the bridge deck. <br /> <br />b. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance <br />with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: <br />1) ADD Item A.2.e in Exhibit A Paragraph A1.02 Final Design Plans as follows: <br /> <br />e.
