South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 7, 1999 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from EIS for professional <br />services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that during <br />construction of the drive approach to the <br />Social Security building on South Street, <br />an underground, heating oil storage tank <br />was found in the right -of -way. <br />A proposal has been submitted by EIS in <br />the amount of $2,600 to monitor the <br />removal and proper disposal of the of 3' <br />sludge in the storage tank and monitor <br />the closure of the underground storage <br />tank. The staff recommends accepting <br />the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Ms. Schwartz and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the proposal from EIS in the <br />amount of $2,600 for professional <br />services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />HAWPDATA \C0MMSN\050799.MIN -3- <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM EIS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,600 FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
