South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - March 19, 1999 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Ms. Schwartz and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Parking <br />Management Agreement between the City <br />of South Bend and Ampco System Parking <br />for the Wayne /St. Joseph Garage in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1673. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: Affidavits from <br />the Tri- County News and South Bend <br />Tribune that the Notice of Public Hearing <br />was published in those newspapers on <br />February 26, 1999. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the resolution <br />authorizes the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Authority and South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission to enter into a Lease, in order <br />to obtain financing to purchase two sites in <br />the downtown, to remove any structures, <br />which might be on the properties and to <br />pay for any relocation which might be <br />necessary in order for the acquisition to <br />occur. The two sites include: (1) The <br />development site at the corner of Main and <br />Jefferson Streets; (2) The L -shape Lot <br />located at the corner of Main and Lafayette <br />Streets and extends over to Main Street. <br />This is for the future use of the Studebaker <br />Museum. <br />HAWPDATATOMMSM031999.MIN -4- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PARKING <br />MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND AND AMPCO SYSTEM PARKING <br />FOR THE WAYNE /ST.
