OLD BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued.... <br />The staff recommends accepting the <br />proposal from Peirce &Associates. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Peirce & Associates in the amount of <br />$8,800 for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Design of Crescent Circle) <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Receipt and opening of Bids for the <br />property at Michigan and Washington <br />Streets in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that a legal notice was <br />published stating that all bids were due <br />February 5, 1999, at 10:00 am. Teachers <br />Credit Union submitted a bid on <br />Wednesday, February 3, 1999. No other <br />bids were received as of 10:00 am. Friday, <br />February 5, 1999. <br />Mrs. Kolata opened the bid from Teachers <br />Credit Union. Teachers Credit Union <br />proposes to purchase part of Disposition <br />Parcel C4 -42, which includes Lots 25 and <br />26 of the original plat of the City South <br />Bend. <br />Mrs. Kolata read a portion of the bid.
