NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />f. continued.... <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Resolution <br />No. 1647 authorizes the Director to send <br />purchase offers for three properties in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. If an <br />agreement cannot be reached between <br />Redevelopment and the property owners, <br />then Resolution No. 1647 allows the <br />Director to proceed with Eminent Domain. <br />Hedy Robinson stated that the three <br />properties are 710 E. Pennsylvania, 113 E. <br />Broadway and 1318 Marietta. <br />The purchase of the three residential <br />ANK properties is relative to the housing <br />sw development project currently underway in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission adopted Resolution <br />No. 1647 related to acquisition of property <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />by Eminent Domain. <br />g. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1648 approving an <br />application for real property tax <br />deduction for property in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />The following staff report was presented to <br />the Commission for its consideration. <br />G & M Properties intends to develop new, <br />three- bedroom, five -room homes of 1,036 <br />HAWPDATATOMMSMI 10698.MIN -9- <br />COMMISSION ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 1647 <br />RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE <br />SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA BY <br />EMINENT DOMAIN <br />
