a • <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 21, 1998 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />1. Commission approval requested for a <br />Leasehold Mortgage with the South Bend <br />Chocolate Company for property at 122 <br />S. Michigan St. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Leasehold Mortgage <br />will allow the renovations, which are currently <br />being conducted on the property at 122 S. <br />Michigan St., owned by the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission and leased to the <br />South Bend Chocolate Company, to be <br />financed. <br />The staff recommends accepting the Leasehold <br />Mortgage, subject to non - substantive changes. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Leasehold <br />Mortgage with the South Bend Chocolate <br />Company for the property at 122 S. <br />Michigan St., subject to non - substantive <br />changes and final approval by the <br />Commission's Attorney, Anne Bruneel. <br />W a - W 31Z" -9- N &I : 00 W <br />Mrs. Kolata thanked both Diane Muller and <br />Regina Plummer, Interns, for all the work they <br />have done for the Division of Redevelopment. <br />Diane Muller will return to the University of <br />Northwestern, and her last day will be August <br />28, 1998. Regina Plummer will start a master's <br />program at IUSB, and her last day will also be <br />August 28.
