The proposed used of the property is <br />industrial. A.C. Rich & Company, Inc. <br />proposes to construct a 20,000 sf, <br />manufacturing, storage, office and showroom <br />facility. The building would be a steel frame <br />building. The structure will feature a split - <br />face block up to a height of eight feet around <br />the perimeter of the building. The <br />office /showroom area will use an exterior <br />insulating finish system, such as dryvit on the <br />walls above the split -face block. The colors <br />would be subtle and in keeping with the <br />guidelines for the area. The roof would <br />feature a steel, standing -seam roofing system. <br />The new building would be connected to the <br />building presently owned by A.C. Rich & <br />Company, Inc. The present offices, which <br />front on S. Main Street, would be renovated, <br />partitioned from the remainder of the <br />building and offered for commercial lease. <br />The landscaping will be in accordance with <br />Design Review guidelines for the area. The <br />access to the site will have two driveways on <br />Lafayette Street. The paved parking lot will <br />provide space for 17 vehicles with two <br />handicapped accessible spaces. The loading <br />area of the building will be on the north end <br />through an overhead door. A.C. Rich & <br />Company, Inc. plans to create four to six new <br />positions as its hollow -metal door and frame <br />business expands. A.C.
