APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted August 7, 1998, and <br />ordered the checks to be released. <br />Ms. Schwartz abstained. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to add item 6.q. to <br />the agenda. There was no objection and item 6.q. <br />was added to the agenda. <br />a. Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the Airport Economic Development Area. <br />A site plan of the project was presented to the <br />Commission for its consideration. <br />Mr. Owen Rock, an Economic Development <br />Specialist, stated that Welsh Oil proposes to <br />purchase 3.08 acres in the U.S. 31 Industrial <br />Park for a purchase price of $345,000 or <br />approximately $112,000 per acre.
