South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - April 3, 1998 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />g. continued.... <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from EIS Environmental Engineers, Inc. in <br />the amount not -to- exceed $1,500 for <br />modification of professional service <br />agreement for property located in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />h. Commission approval requested for <br />distribution easement in favor of <br />Michiana Power Company for property <br />located in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. <br />Mr. Riggs stated that there is a 30' x 10' <br />piece of land located in the US 31 <br />Industrial Park for which an easement <br />needs to established for a guide wire for a <br />power line. <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM EIS <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS, INC. IN THE <br />AMOUNT NOT -TO- EXCEED $1,500 FOR <br />MODIFICATION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE <br />SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />The Commission tabled item 6. h. because ITEM 6.H. WAS TABLED <br />Ms. Schwartz abstained and there were not <br />enough Commissioners present at the <br />meeting to vote on this agenda item. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />James Riggs will be voluntarily resigning <br />from the Division of Redevelopment. He has <br />accepted a position with the Maryland Office <br />of Planning in Baltimore. He will be missed <br />by the Redevelopment Commissioners and the <br />Redevelopment Staff. The Commissioners <br />wished Mr. Riggs good luck in his endeavors. <br />-10- <br />
