parameters <br />Complete operating and troubleshooting manuals <br />USB connection to the main control module for advanced troubleshooting <br />To assure long life and operation in a broad range of environmental conditions, the solid- <br />state control system modules shall meet the following specifications: <br />Module circuit board shall meet SAE J771 specifications <br />Operating temperature from -40C to +70C <br />Storage temperature from -40C to +70C <br />Vibration to 50g <br />IP67 rated enclosure (Totally protected against dust and also protected against the effect of <br />temporary immersion between 15 centimeters and one (1) meter) <br />Operating voltage from eight (8) volts to 16 volts DC <br />The main controller shall activate status indicators and audible alarms designed to provide <br />warning of problems before they become critical. <br />CIRCUIT PROTECTION AND CONTROL DIAGRAM <br />Copies of all job -specific, computer network input and output (I/O) connections shall be <br />provided with each chassis. The sheets shall indicate the function of each module connectioi <br />point, circuit protection information (where applicable), wire numbers, wire colors and load <br />management information. <br />BACKUP CAMERA <br />Must have back up camera as well as a passenger side rearward facing camera that activates <br />with the right turn signal. <br />ON -BOARD ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS <br />Advanced on -board diagnostic messages shall be provided to support rapid troubleshooting <br />of the electrical power and control system. The diagnostic messages shall be displayed on tb <br />information center located at the driver's position. <br />The on -board information center shall include the following diagnostic information: <br />Text description of active warning or caution alarms <br />Simplified warning indicators <br />Amber caution light with intermittent alarm <br />Red warning light with steady tone alarm <br />ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS <br />An advanced, Windows -based, diagnostic software program shall be provided for this <br />control system. The software shall provide troubleshooting tools to service technicians <br />equipped with an IBM compatible computer. <br />The service and maintenance software shall be easy to understand and use and have the <br />ability to view system input/output (I/O) information. <br />INDICATOR LIGHT AND ALARM PROVE -OUT SYSTEM <br />40 <br />
