storing vehicle information. The VDR shall be capable of operating in a voltage range from <br />8VDC to 16VDC. The VDR shall not interfere with, suspend, or delay any communications <br />that may exist on the CAN data link during the power up, initialization, runtime, or power <br />down sequence. The VDR shall continue operation upon termination of power or at voltages <br />below 8VDC for a minimum of I Orris. <br />The information stored on the VDR can be downloaded through a USB port mounted in a <br />convenient location determined by cab model. A CD provided with the apparatus shall <br />include the programming to download the information from the VDR. A USB cable can be <br />used to connect the VDR to a laptop to retrieve required information. <br />The vehicle data recorder shall be capable of recording the following data via hardwired <br />and/or CAN inputs: <br />Vehicle Speed - MPH <br />Acceleration - MPH/sec <br />Deceleration - MPH/sec <br />Engine Speed - RPM <br />Engine Throttle Position - % of Full Throttle <br />ABS Event - On/Off <br />Seat Occupied Status - Yes/No by Position (7-12 Seating Capacity) <br />Seat Belt Buckled Status - Yes/No by Position (7-12 Seating Capacity) <br />Master Optical Warning Device Switch - On/Off <br />Time - 24 Hour Time <br />Date - Year/Month/Day <br />INTERCOM SYSTEM — SIG TRONICS <br />The following components shall be supplied with this system: <br />- One (1) Intercom Unit <br />- Four (4) HM-10 Headset Modules to be installed at each seat position. <br />- All necessary wiring and headset charging drops <br />RADIO, CHARGERS AND RADIO INTERFACE CABLE <br />The body builder shall supply and install the required radio interface cable for headsets <br />before delivery of the vehicle. <br />The body builder shall install four (4) customer supplied portable radio chargers and power <br />cables, one near each seat position in the cab. <br />HEADSET HANGERS <br />There shall be four (4) headset hanger(s) installed driver, officer, crew area on ceiling. The <br />hanger(s) shall meet NFPA 1901, Section 14.1.11, requirement for equipment mounting. <br />RADIO ANTENNA MOUNT <br />An antenna -mounting base, Part #RRA4983A, with 17 feet of coax cable and weatherproof <br />cap shall be provided for a two (2)-way radio. <br />38 <br />
