SIDE ROLL PRO'1 EU I IVA <br />The SRS system shall provide protection during a fast or slow 90 -degree roll to the side, in <br />which the vehicle comes to rest on its side. The system shall analyze the vehicle's angle and <br />rate of roll to determine the optimal activation of the advanced occupant restraints. <br />The SRS system shall deploy the following components in the event of a side roll: <br />Air curtains mounted in the outboard bolster of outboard seat backs. <br />Suspension seats shall be retracted to the lowest travel position. QINO <br />Seat belts shall be pre -tensioned to firmly hold the occupant in place. <br />SEATING CAPACITY <br />The seating capacity in the cab shall be four (4) <br />DRIVER SEAT <br />seat shall be provided in the cab for the driver. <br />An adjustable high back suspension <br />The seat shall include the following features incorporated into the side roll protection system. <br />Side air curtain shall be mounted integral to the outboard bolster of the seat back. The air <br />curtain shall be covered by a decorative panel when in the stowedposition. <br />A suspension seat safety system shall be included. When activated in the event of a side <br />roll, this system shall pretension the seat belt, then retract the seat to its lowest travel <br />position. <br />The seat shall be furnished with a three (3)-point, shoulder type seat belt. To provide quick, <br />easy use for occupants wearing bunker gear, the seat belt shall have a minimum 120.00" <br />shoulder length and 55.00" lap length. The scat belt tongue shall be stored at waist <br />ton a position qE:S O <br />for quick application by the seat occupant. The seat belt receptacle shall be provided <br />cable conveniently nested next to the seat cushion, providing easy accessibility. The seat belt <br />shall be furnished with dual automatic retractors that shall provide ease of operation in the <br />normal seating position. <br />OFFICER SEAT <br />An adjustable seat shall beprovided in the cab for the passenger. <br />The seat back shall be an SCBA back style with 7.50 degree fixed recline angle and shall <br />include minimum 4.50" wide x 7.50" deep side bolster pads formaximum support. The <br />SCBA cavity shall be adjustable from front to rear in 1.00" increments, to accommodate <br />different sized SCBA cylinders. Moving the SCBA cavity shall be accomplished by <br />unbolting, relocating, and re -bolting it in the desired location. <br />The seat shall include the following features incorporated into the side roll protection system. <br />Side air curtain shall be mounted integral to the outboard bolster of the seat back.
