FENDER LINERS <br />Full -circular, aluminum, inner fender liners in the wheel wells shall be provided. Surface to <br />match cab interior. <br />WINDSHIELD <br />A one (1) or two (2) piece, safety glass windshield with more than 2,600 square inches of <br />clear viewing area shall be provided The windshield shall be full width and shall provide the <br />occupants with a panoramic view. The windshield shall consist of three (3) layers: the outer <br />light, the middle safety laminate, and the inner light. E O <br />SUNVISORS <br />Two (2) solid sun visors shall be provided The sun visors shall be located above the ES O <br />windshield with one (1) mounted on each side of the cab. <br />WINDSHIELD WIPERS <br />Electric windshield wipers with a washer, in conformance with FMVSS and SAE <br />requirements, shall be provided <br />The windshield washer fluid reservoir shall be located at the front of the vehicle. <br />CAB REAR WALL EXTERIOR COVERING <br />The exterior surface of the rear wall of the cab shall be overlaid with bright aluminum <br />treadplate except for areas that are not typically visible when the cab is lowered <br />CAB LIFT <br />A hydraulic cab lift system shall be provided, consisting of an electric -powered hydraulic <br />pump, fluid reservoir, dual lift cylinders, remote cab lift controls and all necessary hoses and <br />valves. The hydraulic pump shall have a backup manual override, for use in the event of an <br />electrical failure. <br />The rear of the cab shall be locked down by a two (2)-point, automatic, hydraulic, double <br />hook mechanism that fully engages after the cab has been lowered (self-locking). The dual <br />2.25 " diameter hydraulic cylinders shall be equipped with a velocity fuse that protects the <br />cab from accidentally descending when the cab is in the tilt position. <br />For increased safety, a redundant mechanical stay arm shall be provided that must be <br />manually put in place on the driver side between the chassis and cab frame when cab is in the <br />raised position. This device shall be manually stowed to its original position before the cab <br />can be lowered. <br />INTERLOCK, CAB LIFT TO PARKING BRAKE <br />The cab lift safety system shall be interlocked to the parking brake. The cab tilt mechanism <br />shall be active only when the parking brake is set, and the ignition switch is in the on <br />position. If the parking brake is released, the cab tilt mechanism shall be disabled <br />GRILLE <br />A bright finished grille shall be provided on the front center of the cab and shall serve as an <br />air intake to the radiator. <br />MIRRORS <br />Dual vision, motorized, west coast style mirror, with chrome finish, shall Be mounted on <br />each side of front cab door with spring loaded retractable arms.
