A Waterous five (5) year warranty shall be provided forthe pump. <br />'UMP PLUMBING WARRANTY <br />The stainless -steel plumbing components and ancillary brass fittings used in the constructic <br />of the water/foam plumbing system shall be warranted for a period of ten (10) years or <br />100,000 miles. This covers structural failures caused by defective design or workmanship, <br />perforation caused by corrosion, provided the apparatus is used in a normal and reasonable <br />manner. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser for a period of ten years <br />from the date of delivery. A copy of the warranty shall be submitted with the bid. (no <br />exception) <br />CHREE (3) YEAR MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP <br />The gold leaf lamination shall be provided with a three (3) year material and workmanship <br />limited warranty. The warranty shall cover the go Id leaf lamination as being free from <br />defects in material and workmanship that would arise under normal use and service. <br />A copy of the warranty certificate shall be submitted with the bid package (No Exception). <br />►'EHICLE STABILITY CERTIFICATION <br />The fire apparatus manufacturer shall provide a certification stating the apparatus complies <br />with NFPA 1901, current edition, section 4.13, Vehicle Stability. The certification shall be <br />provided at the time of bid. <br />:NGINE INSTALLATION CERTIFICATION <br />The fire apparatus manufacturer shall provide a certification, along with a letter from the <br />engine manufacturer stating they approve of the engine installation in the bidder's chassis. <br />The certification shall be provided at the time of bid <br />'OWER STEERING CERTIFICATION <br />The fire apparatus manufacturer shall provide a certification stating the power steering <br />system as installed meets the requirements of the component supplier. The certification shall <br />be provided at the time of bid. <br />�AB INTEGRITY CERTIFICATION <br />The fire apparatus manufacturer shall provide a cab integrity certification with this proposal. <br />The certification shall state that the cab has been tested and certified by an independent third <br />party test facility. Testing events shall be documented with photographs, real-time and high- <br />speed video, vehicle accelerometers, cart accelerometers, and a laser speed trap. The fire <br />apparatus manufacturer shall provide a state -licensed professional engineer to witness and <br />certify all testing events. Testing shall meet or exceed the requirements below: <br />- European Occupant Protection Standard ECE RegulationNo.29. <br />- SAE J2422 Cab Roof Strength Evaluation - Quasi -Static Loading Heavy Trucks. <br />- SAE J2420 COE Frontal Strength Evaluation - Dynamic Loading Heavy Trucks. <br />- Roof Crush <br />The cab shall be subjected to a roof crush force of 22,500 lbs. This value meets the ECE 29 <br />criteria and is equivalent to the front axle rating up to a maximum of 10 metric tons. <br />- Additional Roof Crush <br />The same cab shall be subjected to a roof crush force of 100,000 lbs. This value exceeds the <br />ECE 29 criteria by nearly 4.5 times. <br />79 <br />
