NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Development Concepts in the <br />amount of $28,000 for market analysis of <br />the Oliver Plow Works site in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area subject to the <br />Commission owning any and all data <br />gathered by Development Concepts, Inc. <br />f. Commission approval requested for bid <br />specifications and design considerations <br />for property located in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the sale of 19 acres <br />of land located at the Toll Road and the <br />US 31 Bypass was put up for bid with the <br />bids due on January 16, 1998. The staff <br />would like to incorporate into the bid <br />packet, bid specifications and design <br />considerations. Mrs. Kolata commented <br />that the staff is requesting the <br />Commission's approval to include the bid <br />specifications and design considerations as <br />follows: the project must be started within <br />two years of award; the 19 acres might be <br />sold on a prorated basis; a deed restriction <br />limiting additional billboards on the <br />property and that the minimum purchase <br />price was set based on an unimproved lot; <br />if the road and utilities were extended, the <br />purchase price will increase. <br />F:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSM010298.MIN -9- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />DEVELOPMENT CONCEPTS IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$28,000 FOR MARKET ANALYSIS OF THE OLIVER <br />PLOW WORKS SITE IN THE SAMPLE -EWING <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA SUBJECT TO THE <br />COMMISSION OWNING ALL DATA GATHERED BY <br />DEVELOPMENT CONCEPTS, INC <br />
