South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting - January 2, 1998 <br />Ms. Schwartz asked permission to table item ITEM 5.A. WAS TABLED <br />5.a. There were no objections and item 5.a. <br />was tabled. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1563 related to <br />acquisition of property within the South <br />Bend Central Development Area by <br />Eminent Domain. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that these are two <br />pieces of land located behind the Morris <br />Civic Auditorium that are needed for the <br />expansion of the Morris Auditorium. <br />These two pieces of land were added to the <br />acquisition list at the December 19, 1997, <br />Commission meeting. The offering price <br />is a combined price for both pieces of <br />property. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded COMMISSION ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 1563 <br />by Ms. Schwartz and unanimously carried, RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY WITHIN <br />the Commission adopted Resolution No. THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />BY EMINENT DOMAIN <br />1563 related to acquisition of property <br />within the South Bend Central <br />Development Area by Eminent Domain. <br />b.
