NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />r. continued.... <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1559 amends the acquisition list in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan by adding a number of <br />properties to the acquisition list. <br />Jon Hunt presented a site plan of the South <br />Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan that highlighted the <br />properties that are to be acquired. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to withdraw <br />from the acquisition list the parcel <br />identified as C22 -17 with the owner's <br />name listed as First Source Corporation. It <br />is not our intent to back off of adding this <br />property to the acquisition list, but we <br />were notified that the property owner may <br />not have received proper notice of the <br />public hearing and rather than have this <br />become an issue, we would like to remove <br />this property from the proposed <br />acquisition list at this time. A resolution <br />will be put forward to add this piece of <br />property to the South Bend Central <br />Development Area Development Plan <br />acquisition list at a later meeting. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the first four <br />properties are in the vicinity of Monroe <br />and Lafayette Streets. It's an L- Shaped <br />piece of property that extends over to <br />Main Street. That is desired as part of the <br />expansion of the new building for the <br />Studebaker Museum. The next two <br />properties are located in the quarter block <br />F:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSM121997.MIN -22- <br />
