South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - December 19, 1997 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />n. continued.... <br />$4,800 for the design of the alternative <br />fence. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Cole Associates for professional <br />services in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />o. Commission approval requested for <br />1998 fees for Blackthorn Golf Course. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the 1998 fees <br />for the Blackthorn Golf Course had been <br />reviewed by the Blackthorn Joint Advisory <br />Committee with a favorable <br />recommendation. There is a $1 resident <br />rate increase for Monday through <br />Thursday. The non - resident rate has <br />decreased and is now the same price as the <br />resident rate for Monday through <br />Thursday. The weekend rate is the same <br />rate as it was in 1997 —$35 for resident <br />and $47 for non - resident; the weekend has <br />been expanded to include Friday, Saturday <br />and Sunday. There are different fees <br />scheduled for twilight golf and for nine <br />holes of golf. The cart fee rate remains at <br />$12. <br />Joe Zaleski explained that the strategies <br />for changing the rates is because Friday <br />has been the most productive day; there is <br />approximately 65 percent resident <br />participation on Monday through <br />F:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSM]21997.MIN -17- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />COLE ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
