Lee <br />Building, a parking lot, the Hardee's <br />restaurant and the former Barb's <br />restaurant. Also, another piece of property <br />to be added to the acquisition list is the L- <br />shaped lot located by the Studebaker <br />Museum and a strip of land located <br />behind the Morris Civic Auditorium that is <br />needed as part of the Morris Civic <br />expansion project. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission authorized the filing of <br />Resolution No. 1559 amending the South <br />Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan and setting a public <br />hearing for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, <br />December 19, 1997. <br />i. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Peirce and Associates for <br />Survey Services for property located in <br />the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that this is for the <br />19 acres of land that the Commission owns <br />located by the Toll Road at the Bypass. <br />An updated survey is needed to take into <br />account the interchange that has been <br />constructed at Nimtz Parkway and to <br />identify in the survey the two existing <br />F:\HOME\CPHIPPS\WPDATA\COMMSM120597.MIN -12- <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED THE FILING OF <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1559 AMENDING THE SOUTH <br />BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SETTING A PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR 10:00 A.M.
