Commissioner Gordon made a motion to approve COA #2018-0911A with the following <br />conditions: 1) to remand to staff approval the (format of the) railing on the outside stairs, 2) <br />to remand to staff the approval of the windows per Staff recommendation (or return to <br />Commission review), 3) NOT approve the replacement of the mastic siding with vinyl on the <br />south side dormer and require it to match remaining. Seconded by Commissioner Canada. <br />Five in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 5 — 0 Motion to approve COA#2018-0911A is passed with conditions. <br />IV. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />V. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. July 16', 2018 <br />2. August 20t", 2018 <br />Commission Bonham made a motion to approve as submitted. Seconded by <br />Commissioner Gordon. <br />Three in favor, two opposed. <br />Vote: 3 — 2. Minutes approved as submitted. <br />Legal Counsel Kennedy advised the Commission that they should rescind their <br />motion so as to allow sufficient time for the minutes to be reviewed by the <br />Secretary and others. <br />Commissioner Gelfinan called for a vote to rescind the motion. <br />Five in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 5 — 0. Motion is to rescind the previous vote passes. <br />Legal Counsel Kennedy expressed that the minutes should be submitted to the <br />Secretary and the Assistant Secretary as a corporate rule. <br />B. STAFF REPORTS <br />1. RME Report — Distributed. <br />Commissioner Gordon asked for clarification on the School Field Routine <br />Maintenance Exclusion. <br />D. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. DISPOSITION OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION ASSETS <br />Commissioner Fisher expressed concern as to who the contact at The History <br />Museum would be. Staff expressed that they would investigate and follow up to <br />facilitate the next meeting of the Committee. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />• 1. Commissioner Gordon inquired as the Inspector Szaday's compensation. <br />Administrator Feasel explained Inspector Szaday's status as a part-time employee of <br />Code Enforcement as HPC's inspector. <br />21 <br />
