Commissioner Molnar made a motion to approve and send forth this recommendation to <br />the South Bend Common Council. Bonham seconded. <br />Five in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 5 — 0. Motion is passed favorably. <br />IV. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />V. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. June 18th, 2018 <br />Commissioner Bonham made a motion to approve. Seconded by Commissioner <br />Molnar. <br />Five in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 5 — 0. May minutes are approved. <br />B. STAFF REPORTS <br />1. RME Report — Distributed. <br />D. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. DISPOSITION OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION ASSETS <br />Former Commissioner Anderson had supplied minutes from this Committee's last <br />meeting. Commissioner Fisher conveyed the minutes to the Commission as a whole and <br />explained the Committee's recommendation. <br />A. Commissioner Fisher made a motion to allow the Committee to proceed <br />with the disposal of the HPC assets. Approved by general consent. <br />B. Commissioner Fisher made a motion to distribute the blueprints to the <br />University of Notre Dame, the balance to be conveyed to The History Museum. Approved by <br />general consent. <br />C. Commissioner Fisher made a motion to distribute the three-dimensional <br />objects to The History Museum to become a part of their collection. Approved by general <br />consent. <br />D. Commissioner Fisher will remain as an interim chair for this committee <br />until she is either reaffirmed, or a replacement is appointed. <br />2. LOCAL LANDMARKS — HISTORIC BRIDGES <br />Committee Chair Molnar discussed and updated the Commission on the progress of the <br />Landmarking of bridges. Owner consent is being sought by HPC Staff. All three bridges <br />(Lasalle, Jefferson, and Twyckenham) have been favorably recommended to the Commission as a <br />whole. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Discussion of the progress on the Lauber Building was held. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN NEW TERM — ELECTION BY MEMBERS <br />a. Commissioner Molnar made a motion to confirm Greta Fisher as the <br />Architectural Historian. Commissioner Canada seconded. <br />0 Four in favor, none opposed, one abstention. <br />21 <br />
