Vice President Hertel brought up a discussion of the creation of a special ad <br />hoc committee to facilitate educational programs for the general public. This <br />committee was entitled "Renovations /Special Projects." Commissioner <br />Molnar volunteered to chair this committee. Commissioners Fisher and <br />Gordon volunteered to be members, as did Historic Preservation Specialist <br />Toering. Legal Counsel DeRose clarified that individuals outside of the <br />Commission could be added to special committees. Historic Preservation <br />Administrator Feasel recommended Tim Klusczinski for this committee. <br />2. HISTORIC LANDMARKS <br />ii. 630 WEST WASHINGTON — ENGMAN NATATORIUM <br />Landmarks Committee Chair Anderson expressed that he would reach out to <br />the committee in advance of the next meeting. The Landmark designation <br />process was discussed, and the particular agenda location and sequence was <br />determined. A first reading will occur on the June meeting in the Public <br />Hearing portion, followed by a Committee meeting between the June meeting <br />and the July meeting. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. DIVESTING HPC RESOURCES <br />Commissioner Bonham left the proceedings at 8: 00pm. <br />Vice President Hertel created an ad hoc committee for the Disposition of Historic Preservation . <br />Commission assets. Vice President Hertel named Commissioner Anderson the Committee Chair, <br />and named Commissioners Fisher and Molnar committee members, to be supplemented with the <br />HPC Staff. <br />B. PRESIDENT <br />Vice President Hertel established a discussion regarding the election of a new President for the <br />Historic Preservation Commission. Legal Counsel DeRose clarified via the By -Laws the election <br />of officer positions, and the necessity for a ballot system. Vacancies can be filled through the <br />ballot process at any regular meeting. <br />VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />IX.
