The <br />walls are clapboard with corner boards. There is a bell flare in the shingled gables end over a molded lintel course and an <br />eyebrow arch a over tall louvered attic vent. The roof is cross -gabled with returns, boxed eaves and simple frieze -boards. <br />Carved brackets are under the projecting tympanum. The chimney is centrally located. A two-story shed addition is at the rear. <br />An elevated wood porch with offset entry — has a molded wooden lintel and open wooden balustrade. Windows are wood 1/1 <br />double -hung sashes. A casement is on the east fagade with "Prairie glazing". A three -faced bay window is on the west fagade. <br />Windows have molded entablatures. <br />ALTERATIONS: The house was extensively restored between 1983 and 1985. COA 1986-0402 allowed for the re -roofing of <br />the house with asphalt shingles (in-kind). COA 2006-0125 allowed for the re -roof of the entire house with architectural shingles <br />and installed a new step and pipe boot flashings. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: 1.
