Awnings, hoods, and fake shutters made of metal, vinyl, or fiberglass should not be used if they would detract from the existing <br />character or appearance of the building. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Replacing the second story replacement windows with new 2/2 wood window replications is not economically viable. Structure <br />is brick masonry with limestone and terra cotta details. Interior features a five -story atrium surrounded by balconies on three <br />sides with an original skylight at the roof. Roof is flat with parapet wall with clay tile coping. <br />ALTERATIONS: Windows are non -original metal 1/1 double hung.
