King). <br />Ms. Schwartz explained that she would <br />vote against this resolution because she is <br />concerned with the precedent that would <br />be established by approving the resolution. <br />Ms. Schwartz clarified that she voted in <br />favor of tax abatement consideration for <br />804 and 808 W. LaSalle Avenue because <br />the construction of these homes began <br />before the ordinance was repealed. <br />Construction of the home at 2520 W. <br />Calvert began several months after the <br />ordinance was repealed. <br />Mr. Hunt called the question and <br />Resolution No. 1542 was adopted by a <br />vote of 3 to 1. Ms. Schwartz voted against <br />the adoption of the resolution. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />proposals for appraisal services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that land located at the <br />U.S. 31 bypass and Brick Road needs to <br />be appraised for disposition. A meeting <br />was held with several appraisers to clarify <br />the appraisal assignment, and they were <br />allowed to modify the proposals they had <br />previously submitted based on the results <br />of the meeting.
