Existing References to Solar in Local Historic District Guidelines (Emphasis A dde d): The Commission provides a list of references that may affect the siting and design of solar energy systems in specific neighborhoods to provide the applicant with a starting place. Applicants should refer the applicable documents to understand the overall intent of the documents and determine if other characteristics of the property may be impacted by the proposed project. If there are no direct references to solar collectors or other mechanical devices, this does not mean that solar collectors are prohibited nor that reasonable restrictions do not apply.
