Legal — Filed December 6 on Eric Boyd appeal. December 12 hearing was <br />continued to January 23. <br />D. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President — Distributed. <br />2. Nominating — Chairman Anderson reported the Nominating committee, consisting of <br />Commissioners Voll, Molnar, Gelfman, and Chairman Anderson, met on December 15 at <br />the History Museum. Recommended slate of officers for 2017: President — Timothy <br />Klusczinski; Vice President — Elizabeth Hertel; Treasurer — Joseph Molnar; Secretary — <br />Michele Gelfman. <br />V. OLD BUSINESS — none <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. ELECTION OF OFFICERS — President Klusczinski opened the floor for nominations, <br />asking if any commission member wished to make a recommendation or substitution to <br />the Nominating Committee's proposed slate of officers. Commissioner Klusczinski <br />nominated Commissioner Gordon for Assistant Secretary. No other nominations were <br />suggested by the membership. President Klusczinski closed nominations from the floor. <br />Commissioner Voll moved to adopt the slate provided by the nominating committee and <br />amend it to include Commissioner Gordon as Assistant Secretary. Seconded by <br />Commissioner Anderson. Six in favor, none opposed. Vote 6 — 0. <br />Commissioner Anderson moved to elect the adopted slate of officers: President — <br />Timothy Klusczinski; Vice President — Elizabeth Hertel; Treasurer — Joseph Molnar; <br />Secretary — Michele Gelfman; Assistant Secretary — Thomas Gordon. Seconded by <br />Commissioner Voll. Six in favor, none opposed. Vote 6-0. <br />VII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />A. 325 West North Shore — COA 2016-0801 approved carriage house roof conversion from flat <br />to gambrel. Stop work order recently issued. Although Building Department issued a permit <br />for this project, it failed to inform owner of height restriction for outbuildings in this <br />neighborhood, and the new roof exceeds the maximum allowable height by nine feet. Owner <br />will seek variance for roof height at January 4 BZA meeting. As she cannot attend the BZA <br />meeting, Executive Director Feasel requested permission to write letter confirming that HPC <br />approved this project as built. It was determined that she would have license to do that, as the <br />project being built is the same as the project approved by HPC. <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br />Commissioner Molnar moved to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Anderson. Six in favor, <br />none opposed.
