Masonry <br />We will install two courses of block to match existing as close as possible <br />from readily available stock from local suppliers. <br />Framing/ Sub Floor <br />We will frame for a new subfloor to include sill plate, 2" x 10" floor joists. <br />Glue and power nail tongue and groove 3/a" OSB to floor joists. <br />Framing/ Exterior Walls <br />We will frame exterior walls of approx. size of your existing porch (6.5' x <br />3.5') to create a large kitchen space. New 6.5' wall will be framed for a new <br />window, final size TBD. Existing window opening reframed for the existing <br />exterior door which will be reinstalled at the new location. <br />Roof <br />The existing roof will be preserved and left in place. <br />Ceilings <br />Ceiling height is determined by the existing roof line. The bumpout area <br />will feature approx. 7.5' ceiling, lower than the main kitchen area. <br />Windows and Exterior Doors <br />One Pella Architect Window 3/0 x 2/0 installed in new wall section. <br />Window is wood interior, wood exterior, prefinished white. <br />Window features Integral Light Technology for a simulated divided light, <br />external grid. Window grid is 3 wide, 2 high. <br />Existing exterior door installed at former window location to lead from the <br />kitchen space to the new concrete steps. <br />Siding- Exterior Trim <br />We will install new wood clapboard siding, style %2" x 6" Clear Cedar Bevel <br />Siding. We will install new wood window trim and crosshead detail at the <br />- new window and new door- opening. The exterior trim work on other - - - <br />openings for your home to be detailed elsewhere in this proposal. <br />
