JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA President's Report for August 21St, 2017 • 07/17/2017 7:OOP (County -City Building; Room 1308): HPC Monthly Meeting • 08/02/2017 2:OOP (HPC -Offices): Discussion with HPC Attorney Brandie Ecker, esq. and Director Feasel related to pending Appeal by Mr. Eric Boyd and miscellaneous legal matters. • 08/02/2017 3-:30P(HPC Consult on letter drafts under preparation by------- Director y____.Director Feasel. • 08/07/2017 11:30A (HPC Offices): Sit in on an interview session conducted by Director Feasel for a applicant seeking the HPC Deputy Director position. • 08/09/2017 12:30P (HPC Offices): Farewell gathering in honor of Deb Parcell — Deputy Director, who recently accepted a position with Indiana Landmarks' Northern Regional Office as its Preservation Specialist. I thanked Ms. Parcell for her service to the Commission and dedication to her duties as deputy administrator. She will be missed (especially for her exceptional ability to prepare transcriptions). HPC also looks forward to working with her in future projects that further promote local history and preservation of the built environment. • 08/15/2017 11:30A (HPC Offices): Staff meeting with Director Feasel regarding the 2018 budget and the potential impact upon administrative duties and public service. 08/16/2017 1:30P (HPC Offices): Staff Meeting with Executive Director Feasel and HPC Legal Counsel Brandie Ecker, esq. Focus on various topics related to Council request for documents (Boyd v. HPC), Building Department enforcement policy and HPC enabling legislation through South Bend and St. Joseph County. • 08/16/2017 3:OOP (HPC Offices): Advise Director Feasel on items slated for September Agenda and the preparation of packet materials.
