Brush pile <br />At the time of purchase <br />The pasture is the eastern half of the property. It is mostly clear of trees, but is mowed. In the center of <br />the pasture, a brush pile about 10' high was present. It appeared to be clean brush along with branches <br />up to approximately 8" diameter. <br />Vision <br />Removal of the brush pile <br />Process <br />In preparing to get a permit, we consulted with the Harris Fire Marshall, the pile was deemed too large <br />to burn. We were informed of the proper steps to burn this pile (equipment present to feed a separate <br />fire from the burn pile in small amounts at a time). Out of respect for our neighbors, and because we <br />determined it would cost less to have the material hauled, we arranged to have hauling done instead, <br />and completed the process and leveling the ground where the pile had been. Aside from normal <br />mowing, this area now grows as naturally as the surrounding pasture. <br />Before After <br />
