Additional support for barn removal COA <br />• Repurposing barn wood on site: some of the barn wood has been repurposed to build an <br />Amish -style dining table in the grand dining room of the main home, and a mantle in over the <br />fireplace of the outbuilding called the summer kitchen <br />• Repurposing boulders on site: the pile of rock boulders have been reassembled in a manner <br />similar to the barn's original foundation, in order to form a retaining wall for the green space <br />that now exists where the barn had been <br />• Menace of carpenter ants: neighbor states that as soon as the barn was removed, their <br />outbuilding was infested with carpenter ants and was destroyed <br />• Garage barn restoration: it is presumed that part of the conditions for COA would be to restore <br />the garage barn in the style of the original structure. This has been completed in like manner. <br />
