Historic Preservation Commission <br />President's Report — December 19th, 2016 <br />• 11/21/2016 7P: HPC Monthly Meeting (County -City Building; Room 1308). <br />• 11/30/2016 9A: Assist Steve Szaday in assembling large capacity, modular racks <br />and reorganizing department storage items (HPC Storage Room).; Staff <br />demonstration of the Fein Turbo II HEPA Vac (proposed tool crib equipment <br />item). <br />• 11/30/2016 2P: Meeting with Director Feasel, HPC Attorney Brett Hummer and <br />Associate, Katlyn Foust Hunneshagen (HPC Conference Rm.). Review past <br />events and documents related to the upcoming appeal Bovd v. Historic <br />Preservation Commission, now slated for December 12t', 2016. <br />• 12/09/2016 1P: Conference call with HPC Attorney Hummer (HPC Offices) to <br />review HPC legal defense materials re: Bovd v. Historic Preservation <br />Commission. <br />• 12/12/2016 7P: Arrive at County -City 4`h Floor Chambers to provide testimony at <br />Bovd v. Historic Preservation Commission appeal. Approached by Common <br />Council President Tim Scott before the meeting began, who advised that the <br />Council intends to continue appeal proceeding to January (probably the second <br />time it convenes that month). I contacted Director Feasel by telephone with this <br />update. Met HPC Attorney Brett Hummer as I exited the building. I informed him <br />of this development. He went upstairs to verify and gather additional information. <br />
