HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />PRESERVATION SPECIALIST REPORT <br />December 19, 2016 <br />Hello Commission! <br />Since last meeting: <br />Code Enforcement hearings - <br />745 Leland Mostly repaired by owner, repair agreement on the remainder <br />836 Leland Mostly repaired, paint in spring 2017 <br />709-711 Lincolnway East Windows repaired by end of January, Remaining repairs by <br />July 2017. ' <br />10 property site visits for environmental reviews. <br />The HPC mobile has been repaired and looks the same with the exception of small <br />scratches at the underside of the front passenger side bumper. <br />I would like to thank Tim K. for all of his assistance in rearranging the storage room and <br />shelf assembly. Between the two of us as well as director Feasel, there was a serious and <br />rewarding purge going on. <br />Not much to report as far as new work being performed, mainly those contactors and <br />owners getting ducks in a row for 2017 projects. <br />I will be talking to the Granger Rotary in January as well as speaking at a workshop for <br />Carla Bruni. She is the contractor who gave us all the tools through the ToolMade <br />program and is the director of the Evanston Rebuilding Center. <br />Steve Szaday <br />Preservation Specialist <br />
