Proposed Porch Renovation
1313 E Wayne Street South
Cullinan Residence
1. Written Description: We seek to enclose an exitsting screened -in porch on the west
side of our home to create a four - season room we may use throughout the year.
This project would build on the existing structiure and not change the footprint of
our home in any way from the exterior. Similar projects can be seen throughout the
neighborhood (please see attached). This project would significantly improve the
exterior condition and appearance of the porch and also increase liveable space
within the home.
Please note attached architectural renderings were drawn up for an earlier iteration
of the project and are not to scale for this particular project but they can provide the
committee with an idea of the overall exterior appearance that may be achieved
through this renovation. The current format does not include an exterior door as
pictured in the drawings.
2. Materials to be used: As the existing foundation, column structure and and roof will
be restored and preserved for this project, the main materials to be used on the
exterior of the porch will be wood for a knee -wall to be framed out in a post and
panel style and painted white to match other existing trim and structures on the
exterior of the house, and white Pella wood windows matched to the style of the
original windows of the home with four over four grilles.
