October 5, 2015 <br />RE: 824 Park Ave <br />Today, I visited the property at 824 Park Ave. I noticed two different materials and three different <br />reveals: 8" aluminum siding, a 6" vinyl siding, and a 5" vinyl siding. I saw two areas where the aluminum <br />siding was pulled back, I visually and physically inspected the material under the siding and observed <br />attached felt paper and wooden furring strips. I was unable to see any clapboard siding from either <br />locations that were pulled back. I was unable to determine whether or not any of the original siding was <br />deteriorated beyond repair. What I touched was solid, but being unable to see what was under the felt <br />paper I am not sure what material it was I was touching. <br />Steve Szaday <br />Preservation Specialist <br />HPCSBSJC <br />
