4 February Reviewed Krista Bailey's Sustainability Plan that was presented to the Mayor. <br />Thought she pared HPCs role back too much. Research for Anne Mannix on "Lincoln Park. <br />Responded to Margaret Fosmoe's inquiry about the 3D project with Notre Dame. <br />5 February Routine Office work. Meeting with Jennifer Parker and Adam Heet and others <br />concerning the 3D Project. Also spoke with Adam Heet concerning his Boy Scout Troops <br />proposed project in Leeper Park East to repair the lime stone retaining wall around the "stage". <br />6 February Prepared and mailed out Commissioner packets. Reviewed Location Report for <br />errors. Met. with Anne Mannix and the research on die houses in the "Lincoln Park" area. <br />Learned from Todd Zeiger that the Junior League house, Local Landmark< was not going to be <br />moved. <br />9 February Prepared the "Heart of Cook" grant letter for submission. Participated in the die <br />History Museum's Finance Committee meeting. Followed up with Brandon Anderson on die 3D <br />project. HPC was awarded $2,500.00 Tourism Grant toward the Architecture and Urbanism <br />Project. <br />10 February Paul Hayden wants to have 831 Colfax landmarked before he sells it. Keeping an <br />eye 609 Riverside Drive activity. Responded in a letter to concerns from die Kline's on the <br />amount of truck traffic on West North Shore and US 31 N. Prepared information for River Park <br />Historic District Presentation scheduled for Thursday at 6:30. <br />11 February Sacred Spaces inquiry for DTSB. Responded to Paul Hayden's request and <br />emailed to him the Homeowner Consent forms and link to Group B Standards. Prepared support <br />letter for 106 Review for Adams Trail and e-mailed to Troyer Group. <br />12 February Completed Sacred Spaces research for Kylie Carter at DTSB. Prepared to River <br />Park Neighborhood Association presentation on Historic Districts. Wrote letter to Mark Lyons <br />concerning Country Bake Shop issues and passed on to Steve and Elicia for any additions or <br />corrections. Prepared for presentation on HPC for League of Women Voters luncheon at <br />Chocolate Cafe on Friday. Presented at River Park at 6:30 and there seemed to be some genuine <br />interest in having a District. <br />13 February Staff meeting with Ian Alford, IT Specialist, and Mike Hamann, Auditor, about die <br />future and planned upgrades to the Office's phone and computer system. They want to digitize <br />everything. Also brought up using a digital system rather than tapes for our meetings. Presentation <br />to League of' Women Voters from 11:30 to 1:30, lots of Q&A and interest in what HPC is all <br />about. Meeting with Margret Fosmoe on the proposed Studebaker-Railorad Corridor National <br />Register District, provided research on the nomination and buildings, information on the project. <br />
