South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 17, 1997 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />m. Commission approval requested for a <br />proposal from KCH & Associates, Inc. for <br />Consulting Agreement in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that this proposal is for <br />services related to a financial plan and strategy <br />for the possible purchase of the Ivy Tower <br />property. The cost for this work is not -to- <br />exceed $2,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from KCH <br />& Associates, Inc. for a Consulting Agreement <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />n. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for clean out of property located <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that this proposal is for the <br />Historic Wenger Homestead property located <br />at 701 E. Pennsylvania. This building has a <br />lot of things in it that need to be removed. <br />There were two proposals received. The first <br />proposal received was from First Response <br />Construction, Inc. in the amount of $3,760. <br />The second proposal received was from <br />Servpro, Inc. in the amount of $3,866.94. The <br />staff recommends accepting the proposal from <br />First Response Construction, Inc. in the <br />amount of $3,760. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from First <br />Response Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\101797.MIN -29- <br />E <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />KCH & ASSOCIATES, INC.
