NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />i. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Certificate of <br />Waiver in connection with the Rental Rehab <br />Loan Program for property located at 829 E. <br />Miner. (Paul and Mary Jo Quinn) <br />j. Commission approval requested for <br />proposals for appraisal services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that three proposals were <br />received. Only one appraiser is needed <br />because one appraisal of the property has <br />already been completed. She also stated that <br />the staff requested one report attributing the <br />value to the two separate owners. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the lot is an L- shaped <br />piece of property and it has slightly different <br />ownerships. There are some overlapping <br />ownerships, so the staff requested a single <br />appraisal report. This resulted in adjustments <br />to the proposals that were originally <br />submitted. <br />Ralph D. Lauver proposed to do the work for <br />an amount of $3,000, instead of $3,500. <br />Jerome Michaels proposed to do the work for <br />$2,500. Richard McCloskey proposed to do <br />the work for $2,800.
