6 August Paul South located the Park View post in his storage lot and is going to check out the 6 <br />installed at Wise Guys. General Office work. Arranged to meet with an interested party as either a <br />volunteer or a Commissioner on Thursday. <br />7 August Met with Elizabeth Hertel -Price from Mishawaka who is interested in City Cemetery and is <br />a member of die DAR. She is also interested in serving as a Commissioner. General Office Work. <br />Received $12,500.00 installment from the City. <br />8 August E- mailed Eric Ford concerning his property on LWE in Edgewater. General Office <br />Work. Resolved concerns about 808 Forest. <br />11 August Car in for repairs. NICH Finance Committee meeting. General Office work. Reconciled <br />July's Location Report. 531 S. St. Joseph (Thaddeus Taylor's home) may have new owners -the Ben Wilson <br />family. They are waiting on the Inspection. <br />12 August Rain. General Office work. Restore Michiana. Sent email to correct error in Special Gifts <br />account. Paperwork for Legal notice in Tribune arrived - called a Publisher's Claim. Inquiry into SBT to <br />see if HPC is really supposed to get this. <br />13 August SBT said the billing would arrive at month's end. Publisher's Claim is for our records. <br />14 August Meeting with Derek Dieter about HPC projects with NDU and NICH and how they may <br />dovetail into die SB 150 Celebration. Phone still in the fritz and replacement is due to come in on 22 <br />August. <br />15 August Vacation Day <br />18 August Meeting with Derek Dieter, Jennifer Parker, Adam and Abraham from ND and Staff <br />illustrating the Architecture and New Urbanism sites and what ND is trying to do for South Bend along <br />those same lines. Explored the options to upload photos and histories Jennifer thinks that Flicker would be <br />the easiest to set up and the most user friendly. Set up a meeting for Friday with Travis and Brandon at <br />NICH. For a more robust sight Derek suggested contacting the Community Foundation for funding. Larry <br />Meteiver inquired about die HPC City agreement from 2000 which provides die services of an attorney, die <br />car and $25,000.00 to HPC. We have been unable to locate any documentation in the Office. I suggested <br />that Larry contact Aladean DeRose and John Oxian <br />
