I April Turned in fees for March. Worked on letters of support for the APC. <br />Worked on Letter of support for the Morris for Historic Theatre award. <br />2 April Completed letter for the Morris. Attended Rotary luncheon for the <br />Governor of Indiana. <br />3 April General Office work; payroll. <br />4.April Completed Letter of Support for APC. Reconciled Location Report with <br />Spread Sheet. Met with Adam Riggs of Adams Remco about the hook up capabilities <br />which he says are there. Followed up with IT. Adam Riggs requested a study of our <br />toner /printing expenses to see if they would have a more economical leasing program Met <br />with Jonathan Geels re: Kessler Plan and exhibit in County-City Building Lobby. <br />7April General Office Work. Tied up loose ends and had Agenda and <br />supplements sent to Commissioners for 21 April meeting. <br />8 -11 April Statewide Preservation Conference in New Albany, IN. <br />14 April Followed up with Ms. Hughes on 520 Sherman; supplied her with names <br />and numbers of people who could provide information. Submitted Memo to Council <br />President Oliver Davis and the Staff of City Clerk. Worked on three research projects that <br />came through e -mail while Staff was at Conference. Stan Molenda applied for a <br />Demolition COA for his house 327 Madison; this will be on the May Agenda to give Staff <br />the time to access the application. Accepted application for fencing on Portage. <br />15 April Attended Smart Streets Focus Group at DTSB. COA for fencing on LWE. <br />Research and General Office work. <br />16 April Staff Reports for COAs. Meeting with homeowner on E. Wayne South <br />about project without COA added to Agenda. Attended County Department Head <br />Meeting. Prepared files for HPC meeting. <br />17 April Staff Reports; follow up with 520 Sherman. Attended Code Hearing with <br />Ann Carol Nash ( now in private practice) representing Stan Molenda's 327 W. Madison <br />Demolition Hearing. Inspector Ed Wood stated that it would take $200,00.00 to bring the <br />structure back as die floors are gone, the basement beams a bowing and there is asbestos <br />siding in the rear plus roofing issues. Demolition and abatement would cost about <br />$13,000.00 Deutsche Bank holds die paper on die house. Stan has Torok & Sons <br />retained to demolish die house. This must be done by 18 July 2014. Ann Carol and I <br />discovered that the house was sold at tax sale. Notified Shubhada at Code immediately. <br />Attended Smart Streets and Renaissance District meetings. <br />18 April OFFICE CLOSED for GOOD FRIDAY. <br />
