12. Notre Dame /Mendoza College of Business /Gigot Center for Entrepreneurship MicroVenture <br />Consulting- Meeting with Luke to discuss Ivy Tech partnership possibilities. Meeting with Kathy Kent and <br />Cheryl King from Ivy Tech to discuss partnership possibilities. <br />South Bend Cemeteries DIGitazation- Working with Heather and her - team of volunteers /Interns. <br />1 wing general inquiries about the project. Prepare an update statement on HPCs involvement thus far. <br />Forwarding update to Parks Department and Common Council. Organize a meeting with Parks <br />Foundation, HPC Staff, and Derek Dieter, Common Council President. Meeting with Parks, Derek, <br />Catherine and Steve to discuss needs at the cemetery and fundraising efforts. Preparing all digital maps <br />for Travis at Center for History. Meeting with Heather regarding possibly extending her contract. <br />14. Downtown South Bend, Inc. First Friday's- Correspondence with Purple Porch Coop and Bicycle <br />Gallery, in which I serve as liaison for. Visit to Bicycle Gallery to observe their progress of the interior <br />remodel of their space located in JMS Building, a Local Landmark (they are restoring marble floor that <br />was uncovered under vinyl). <br />15. Preservation Advocates Love St. Joseph County - Talked with Mik Perry on the phone. <br />16. Local Historic Districts Heritage Tour - Working on setting dates. Correspondence with Tim of Tim's Tours <br />regarding dates, quote and ticket prices. Working with graphic designer to finalize poster. Developing <br />Eventbrite registration page. Placing print order for 200 posters. Working to deliver posters. Forwarding <br />images to WNIT for inclusion in Experience Michiana. <br />17. Vacant and Abandoned Housing- Meeting with Jim and Michael of Habitat for Humanity with Steve, <br />Catherine, (Luke and Ming from MicroVenture) to discuss partnership potential. <br />18. Ivy Tech Environmental and Sustainable Design- Meeting with Kathy Kent, Dean of Fine Arts and <br />—eryl King, Environmental Design instructor regarding partnership opportunities. Sent follow up email. <br />19. Ignite Michiana- Preparing two Power Points to revolve on screen at event, including: Historic Theatres <br />and Historic South Bend Views. Attended Ignite. <br />20. Meeting with a team from a Notre Dame Sustainability class regarding developing a waste <br />management plan for State Theatre. <br />21. Developing Commission Courier. Making updates. Emailing. <br />22. Touring new Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture at former Hansel Center on West Washington. <br />23. Assisting the Hickey family with research on their family's construction business. Also, accepted a <br />donation from the family of a brick (in a case) that came from 113 N. Main Street, RECO sporting goods <br />building when it was demolished in 1968 - yah !!! <br />24.- - Then - &- Now downtown- tours- Meeting _ with_Dena- _Woods,_Catherine_ and Steve to_ set_ dates for <br />upcoming season. Discussed sustaining the tour and the reprinting of the brochures. Discussed OnCell <br />account that Center for History maintains. <br />25. Meeting with Catherine and Cherri Peate, Director of Community Outreach for City of South Bend to <br />explain HPC. <br />— Studebaker Bendix Heritage Trail- Meeting of the whole to touch base on tour. <br />2 <br />
