Assistant Director's Report HPC Meetina 04.15.2013 <br />1. Local Landmarks - Fielding phone calls regarding Minimum Maintenance Standards Surveys that were <br />mailed to South Bend Landmarks 3.20.13. <br />a. LaSalle Hotel -phone call with Jason Holderread who may be submitting an RFP to the city. <br />b. 1013 East Jefferson - Meeting with and receiving COA #2013 -0328 for storm doors. <br />2. Local Historic Districts -none. <br />3. Staff Reports -none. <br />4. Routine Maintenance Exclusions- <br />, a. East Wayne Street - Received COA from Karen Hickey <br />5. National Register -none. <br />6. Attend 03.18.2013 meeting. Prepare draft of March meeting minutes and forward to Commissioners. <br />Revise as requested. Print minutes from March meeting for April meeting. Attend 2nd strategic planning <br />committee meeting. <br />7. Restore Michiana Series 2010 -2011 Window Restoration Production - Working on broad marketing plan. <br />8. Restore Michiana Series 2013 - Updating calendar on www.RestoreMichiona.com. Sending out Press <br />Release and flyer marketing Homeowner Workshop Series at Kizer house. Correspondence with <br />Studebaker Museum regarding borrowing folding chairs. <br />9. Internships- Prepare Summer 2013 job descriptions. Update listsery to include Holy Cross, Bethel, and <br />owe others. Receiving and processing several Internship applications. Oversee and offer guidance for <br />— _following projects: _ —___ <br />a. Michelle: Postcards - Working on updates to series. Uploading files to Rink Printing! <br />- b. Fabian: Minimum Maintenance Standards - Working on updating mailing lists. <br />c. Bethany: Kizer Carriage House and marketing collateral for series - Preparing two Letters of <br />Support for graduate schools. <br />d. Amanda: Kizer elevations <br />e. Grace: Kizer elevations <br />f. Sarah #1: Cemetery DIG - Correspondence with supervisor, Heather. Follow up regarding <br />paperwork. <br />g. Hotel - Motel Tax Grant - Center for History was awarded $2,500 to develop a Heritage Tours <br />repository in partnership with HPC!!! Correspondence with Marilyn Thompson to begin planning. <br />Meeting with Marilyn and Catherine to set priorities and begin working. Creating a temporary <br />website to use as a visual aide. Meeting with Evie Kirkwood. <br />11. Redevelopment Commission - Preview agendas. <br />
