First Friday's -Committee meeting with discussion of the ART-itecture <br />Hunt HPC is developing for September. Develop the Hunt entry form and FF map. Correspondence <br />with Julie Curtis regarding edits. <br />15. 100 year anniversary of the Kessler Parks and Boulevard Plan for South Bend -none. <br />16. Local Historic Districts tour -Preparing presentations and presenting to Chapin Park neighbors and <br />Sunnymede neighbors 8.22. Research and gather information for Sunnymede Neighborhood <br />Association about the n'hood. Locating sites on maps and forward to Kristina. Write copy for tour <br />spread. Received hand renderings from Kurt and delivered to Kristina. Forwarding photos to Kristina <br />for inclusion in brochure. Reviewing guide book design and copy. <br />17. Vacant and Abandoned Housing Task Force -Preview agendas. <br />18. Then & Now: A Downtown Architecture Walking Tour -Guiding 9 people for the final downtown <br />tour 8.24. <br />19. Historic Preservation Funds Grant -none. <br />20. City Cemetery ground scan -none. <br />21. Meeting at 1705 E. La Salle to talk to Mr. Victor about his Palladian -style windows with Catherine <br />and Steve. <br />22. River Park -Site visit for observations as they are currently pursing Indiana Main Street. <br />23. East Bank Village -Learning about EBV supporters efforts to bring historic buildings to the corner of <br />Hill/Colfax to create urban density. Supporting the efforts by sending Sanborn Maps and National <br />Register Nominations to the group. Attended a meeting with the EBV merchants to listen to their <br />concerns. Attended St. Joe unveiling of their plans. Forward letter of interest including all EB National <br />Register listings and notice of identified historic buildings that could be available to move to the site. <br />24.
