Assistant Director's ReQort HPC Meetina 06.20.2011 <br />1. National Register Nomination - <br />a. City Cemetery -Nothing this month B <br />b. LaSalle Ave, Sons of Israel, Marquette School -Correspondence with Kurt Garner regarding <br />PIP partnership. Prepare a brief presentation to PIP for funding consideration meeting.- PIP is going to <br />support Marquette School nomination!!! Correspondence with Cynthia and Kurt, of PIP about what is <br />next. Meeting with Tim, Catherine and myself to discuss the Owner Authorization and permission for <br />access into the interior of the school. <br />2. Attend 05.16.2011 HPC meeting, prepare draft of minutes and forward to Commissioners. Revise <br />as requested. Print minutes from May meeting for June meeting. Print commissioner and liaison <br />mailing labels. Delivering Commissioner packets. Attend 05.24.2011 HPC special meeting, prepare <br />draft of minutes and forward to Commissioners. Revise as requested. <br />3. Internships - <br />a. Resource Library Books -Measuring some office furniture. Planning for a furniture <br />readjustment. Correspondence with potential interns. Meeting with Stephanie of St. Joseph Co. <br />Purchasing at the county surplus warehouse. Scheduling Adams-Remco to move copy machine. <br />Meeting with Mary Lou to get her started on the books. Correspondence with Jennifer Parker about <br />cross referencing digital catalog with actual location of holding. Working with Mary Lou to get <br />acquainted with her project. <br />b. Resource Library Flat Files -Meeting with Rachel Cink to go over her credentials and the <br />project. Working with Rachel to get acquainted with her project. Discussion with Rachel about cross <br />referencing digital catalog with actual location of holding. <br />c. Local Landmarks -Discussion with Mark Lyons of the Building Department about including St. <br />M�oseph County Local Landmarks in the GIS system. Follow up with Megan Izzo. Meeting with Megan <br />o go over her credentials and the project. Working with Megan to get acquainted with her project. <br />Meeting with Megan and John Carlson of GIS to set up a spreadsheet for creating a map overlay of <br />County Landmarks. <br />d. Preservation Specialist -Investigate into painting the office and applying a picture rail <br />moulding so we can have changing galleries. <br />4. RMS 2010-2011 Window Restoration Production -Revising and expanding script!!! Developing <br />supplements, including: Condition Assessment, Tools & Supplies, Estimates -Quantity & Cost. <br />Correspondence with Bob Yapp who is a partner in the Window Preservation Standards <br />Collaborative. Phone call with Andrea of Grass Roots about timeline and setting up a voice <br />recording session. Meeting with Wayne about the production. Meeting with Todd Zeiger about the <br />production. SCRIPT SCRIPT SCRIPT. Phone call with Richard Spigelmyer about the script. Setting a <br />meeting with Richard and John about the script. <br />5. Restore Michiana Series 2011- <br />a. Updating www.RestoreMichiano.com website. <br />b. Historic Wood Window Restoration Workshop with HNC -Prepare Attendee Certificates. <br />Develop follow up survey. Follow up discussion with Dana Groves. Sending certificates and survey to <br />attendees. Send thank you to Bruno's Pizza. <br />c. Lincoln Highway -Adding event to Restore Michiana calendar. <br />6. Staff Reports -304 S. Twyckenham Drive staff report and site visit. <br />m'. Research Ernest W.
