20 May Office payroll submitted. Responded to Jennifer Lackman's e-mail. <br />On site visit to 1222 East Wayne to photograph fence and to drop off RME for fence. <br />Toured E, Wayne Street District and stopped by 1615 E. Wayne to look at roof. Spoke <br />with Julie Ducom several times concerning the Special Meeting. Prepared and dropped <br />off a tree removal RME for 621 Lafayette per Brent Thompson's fax of permit #64. <br />23 May Steve Szaday met with St. Joseph County HR. Met with Tom Anderson <br />on Franklin Street with Steve, verified that the bricks would be replaced on the one block <br />street after the street was re -graded and the new curbing and sidewalk work is completed. <br />Investigated problem house on Marquette for Mary Ellen O'Connell. Arranged a <br />meeting on building facades with Erin Blasko of the South Bend Tribune for Wednesday. <br />Responded to 944 Riverside homeowner inquiry with Contractor Listing. Prepared <br />Memo on 1615 E. Wayne to Commissioners after consulting with Russ Luchies about the <br />slate. <br />24 May Prepared for Special Meeting to entertain continued COAs for 1414 E. <br />Wayne and 1615 E. Wayne. Issued RME for 307 LaMonte for tree removal approved by <br />Brent Thompson for AEP work. Contacted Derek Dieter, Gary Gilot and Carl Littrell <br />reflecting residents' concern for the high speed traffic on Hudson because of the round <br />about construction on Angela and Riverside. <br />25 May Followed up with COAs and minutes from Special Meeting. Mailed 1414 <br />E. Wayne. Office Reorganization. Met with Erin Blasko and Margaret Fosmoe about the <br />facades in downtown. Showed Historic photographs of various corners, Sherland <br />Building and Robertsons. Walking tour was delayed for a later date because of rain. <br />26 May Wayne Steve and I visited Edgewater Place to follow up on Chris <br />Wilson's phone call concerning the vacant Local Landmark 815 Arch; she mentioned that <br />things were stripped out of the house along with downspouts, police had been called and <br />met with people working in the house, but no action was taken. The front walkway and <br />steps need to be replaced in-kind. Could not locate Realtor. Photographed 705 and 709- <br />711 LWE and Wayne and Steve turned into Code. No Trespassing signs were posted -but <br />rear entryways were broken into. Contacted Lien Logic (877 866 5436 in Colorado) <br />about condition of 705 LWE. Turned in 927 E. Washington to building department for <br />garage work without a permit. Checking on a fence issue. All properties owned by <br />Gross &Cohen Notre Dame II LLC for student housing. <br />27 May Toured East Washington District, noted addresses of fences, verified with <br />Building department that permits were pulled and sent Gross and Cohen a letter in a <br />packet that included district, tax incentive and HPC information. Continued work on 705 <br />LWE spoke with Kristy at Cameron Butcher, asset manager for Lien Logic(719 535 <br />- — 0500); who explained -that -they did -not -have clear title to the property -from -the --- - --_ — <br />Commissioners' Sale that was filed in Court in April, 2011. Wrote letter to 709-711 LWE <br />owner of record, Josphat Wianinan in California along with local Contractors Listing. <br />Records show back taxes owed.
