Mike Wheeler. Prepared for meeting with Jeremy Roschyk of DLZ about proposed lift station re- <br />location at the North Pumping Station site (Local Landmark) and then met with him at 2:00 on <br />site. The project is currently in the planning stage and entails moving the Lift Station from the <br />northwest front corner of the building to the south towards Bartlett the two smaller of the three <br />sewer lines so alleviate the flooding in front of the North Pumping Station through the manholes <br />when there is a downpour. Since this project is in the planning phase and Staff will continue to <br />work with DLZ on their plans before it comes to the Commission for review in the fall. <br />18 February Prepared letter of support for Art Works Sign proposals for Highland and <br />Riverview Cemetery for April 6 hearing. Staff will be in Indianapolis for the State Preservation <br />Conference. Followed up with Joan Downs on her concerns with 828 Park, 501 N. Lafayette, <br />916 Riverside and 307 La Monte. 828 Park the addition approved by the Commission in 2008 is <br />still un -sided, 501 N. Lafayette has been turned over to the building department so it can not <br />revert to multi family housing, the windows at 916 Riverside have been re -stored per Schoberg; <br />Tim Johnson is working on 307 LaMonte with an architect and AEP to have the electrical service <br />underground so that the garage can be re -built. <br />21 February Presidents' Day. Office Closed <br />22 February Weather cancelled appointments. Office re -organization. Conversation with <br />Tim Johnson concerning the work at 307 LaMonte. <br />23 February Spoke with Joe Lamir of Housing Horizons, Dallas Texas owner of <br />Central High School Apartments. They want to replace windows. Explained in detail the <br />Commissions position on window replacement, sent him Contractors Listing and website <br />link and meeting/coa schedule (ioe.lamir@kcc.com). Met with Mike Wheeler owner of <br />13271 Adams landmark concerned about Granger Paths 106 Review. Contacted <br />Christopher Waidner at Troyers about the 106 Review which was procedurally botched to <br />straighten out that mess. Wrote letter expressing concerns and sent in a PDF to Chris with <br />hard copy in the mail. Meetings will then be set up with INDOT, FHWA, Troyer, <br />Wheeler, HPC and Jessica Clark to discuss a compromise. Wrote letters to Commissioner <br />candidates recommended by Linda Riley and Tim Klusczinski. <br />24 February Received a fax from Indiana Michigan Power Company and Asplundh Tree <br />Experts listing 4 pages of trees to be removed or trimmed in the East Wayne Street district. <br />Immediately called Daniel Coy and set up meeting for Friday to go over the Standards for <br />that district with him and the locations of the various trees. Met with Denis Andres <br />concerning the north brick wall of the Morris. Denis explained that Russ Luchies had not <br />returned Jim Monroe's phone call. I contacted Russ and he said that Jim Monroe never <br />contacted him and would call him immediately. <br />25 February Meeting with Daniel Coy of Asplundh to go over maps of tree removals and <br />trimming in East Wayne and Lincoln Way East LHD. Arranged to meet with him on site <br />on Tuesday, March 1 to see how many will need COAs under the E Wayne Guidelines. <br />Prepared payroll. Met with Russ Luchies and obtained new business cards from him. <br />Touched base with him on various projects in South Bend on the North Pumping Station <br />
